Check out this new opportunity with a rapidly growing internet technology company that owns and operates a portfolio of high-traffic websites. Their current online properties specialize in presenting engaging content that draws 75 million visitors monthly. Currently, their organization is comprised of over 70 employees in both St. Louis and Toronto. This particular opportunity is located in St. Louis.


The ideal candidate will connect and organize disparate data to provide the rest of the team with in-depth reports. This system will facilitate intelligent, real-time, high revenue decisions to be made on a day-today basis, as well as provide historical and predictive reports.


Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions in a team environment
  • Navigate between teams and projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves
  • Be comfortable with agile development cycles
  • Be able to translate client requests into formal software requirements
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Develop, enhance, and document explicit code
  • Provide direction in complex problem-solving situations


Education, Experience and Skills:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or 4-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Programming experience in Python (or PHP), JavaScript,HTML5/CSS
  • Comfortable working with frameworks (Django, Flask,Laravel,Symfony)
  • Deep understanding of distributed version control, specificallyGit
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • APIintegration and development experience using REST
  • Strong Object-Oriented skills
  • Experience and understanding ofMVCarchitecture
  • Experience with web services and data stores (Memcache,Redis, Beanstalk, Elastic Search)
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL)



-Medical:  They pay 100% of the cost for Team Member medical benefits, regardless of whether they are single or elect family coverage.

-The medical plan is a UHC 100% high-deductible plan with a $2,600.00 annual deductible per person (even with family coverage--the deductible is embedded).

-They offer a 50% match on 401k contributions up to 6% of salary (vests over 36 months).
